HYCC GOOD DONOR AWARD 2018

For the 1st Annual Hawthorne Youth and Community Center Legacy Awards (2018), Kamran Zahedi/Urbanica was honored to bestowed the "HYCC Good Donor Award". This award is for people who have shown "continued dedication to HYCC" and who have helped HYCC "plant deep roots for decades in the Highland Park, Roxbury neighborhood".

HYCC is a grassroots, non-profit that has been responsive to community needs for over forty years. The center, the brainchild of a small group of concerned community youth and adults, began in a converted coal cellar in 1967. Hawthorne supports and celebrates the rich diversity of Roxbury’s Highland Park.
