SIDING PROGRESS

The siding work for 1-13 Dorr Street is going up despite historic snowy conditions; a heroic effort  undertaken by the carpentry crew we have on the job.

The exterior of the townhouses is made up of a combination of new innovative methods and age-old building techniques:
  • ZIP system sheathing and tape for an integrated water resistant and air barrier
  • Traditional technique of tar paper for added protection
  • Vented Rainscreen Assembly of Hardie Plank Siding on Furring Strips
A nice color combination of Iron Gray and Soft Green Hardie Planks with natural Cedar boards accents draws upon the traditional New England palette while offering a crisp contemporary detailing.

The project will greatly complement the existing housing stock around the area and enhance the streetscape along Highland and Dorr Streets.
